The MWI tool includes two main features:
Explore the MWI and individual measures at the State level
Explore the MWI and individual measures at the ZIP Code level
Here you can find instructions on how to use the MWI, as well as videos and use cases to guide you.
Note: MWI values and individual measure rankings show how a given ZIP Code compares to all other ZIP Codes in the nation on a range between 0 and 100.
For the MWI, a higher value (closer to 100) indicates more resources or assets to support mental wellness, while a lower value (closer to 0) indicates more obstacles to mental wellness. Individual measure are displayed as rankings. For example, a Broadband Access measure ranking of 75 means that this ZIP Codes ranks higher than 75% of the ZIP Codes in the nation for this measure (not that 75% of individuals in the ZIP Code have broadband access).
